We spuddled over in Baby Beez to the buoyed area that protects the turtle feeding ground. Morning and afternoon see many tour boats arrive from Nosy Be and the resorts on Sakatia. We chose lunchtime and had the place pretty much to ourselves. We tethered our steed to one of the buoys and off we went. The little patches of mostly hard coral showed nothing out of the ordinary so we went in search of grass.

Taking of camouflage – spot the green fish. After counting nine turtles we headed back to Baby Beez passing another coral patch.

A gang of fish were taking shelter.

Although they seem to flap so gently, I really struggled to keep up with this turtle just before I left the water.
