Canyon River
Trip
Ten minutes in our next minibus, a few
minutes walk and we were trotting down the unique bank steps
to our boats
Looking at the sizes of us, the little
lads split us into two groups
Off we went
Very
beautiful
A tree with its roots
firmly anchored to bare rock
Completely
unspoilt
Our little lad was
eyeing the current........
........but pointed out the face in the waterfall by pointing to his nose and
eye
The size of the
canyon became apparent (– see the other boat in the bottom right hand
corner next to the rocks).
Our journey saw a little evidence of
an ingress
Nothing that couldn’t be
sorted
The ingenious
table and chairs gave us our next laugh
Comfy enough for another round of sarnies. Chance to admire Duncan’s Croc’s, the A is actually the registered Trademark
of the Alabama University. This was pointed out to the unknowing Duncan by a
post grad, Followed a few weeks later by another. Whatever next. The can totems also caught our eye, matched cans at each
layer. Such a good day, now off to the bus stop once more.
Three buses, a waterfall and a canyon
ride for the princely sum of six pounds fifty. Bargain.
ALL IN ALL A LITTLE
