Off to Bequia

The unusual black beaches and a pretty bay down the coast of St Vincent

Bequia in the distance. You have to be ready here for the "Bequia Blast" sudden big winds that can blow up a huge swell. We were lucky and it was flat enough for a quick game.

AT LONG LAST A JUMPER.
How chuffed am I to finally get a shot for Mr. and Mrs. Dyer. Dear Colin and Ann, I know the bet was set a while ago but I did it. Three hundred and eighty one days after leaving Plymouth. OK so his nose is just in the water but I hope you let me off that. All my lost fish and off days forgotten. Chuffed to nuts and I won the game, what could be better.

Entering the harbour we had expected loads of boat boys "to be at us" we slipped in unnoticed. We anchored next to a chum, and watched the ferry leave for St Vincent.

Admiralty Bay - long been a welcoming place for yachties.

ALL IN ALL DELIGHTED TO BE IN BEQUIA - a place on our bucket list and in the 1000 places book.
