Helford
Passage Cruise with Cec and Martin – Part One
This is an amusing blog for me to type, I set up the pictures and
as I was not there am asking Bear for the commentary, here
goes.....Pepe was quite unwell after her Indian meal last night and
at the last minute decided it was folly to risk a cruise on the Helford Passage
boat trip. Cecily, Martin and I set off from Falmouth
jetty, wound our way past the anchorage and
left the town behind.
A little life saver, a pretty day
boat and our hosts enjoying the
trip.
The famous Black Rock marker.
Falmouth Castle and the entry fortification on the
shore.
The Manacles at the end of the headland with chums passing
by.
Solo sailor at the entrance to the Helford
Passage.
August Rock buoy marks the
entrance.
The Helford River begins to open up.
Looking back out to sea.
Durgan
House.
The shoreline at
Glendurgan Gardens.
A peaceful anchorage.
So
Cornish.
Trebah House and beach.
The beach we had our ice cream yesterday during our Trebah visit.
Helford Passage Beach and village.
The most expensive house to be sold last year in
Cornwall.
Port
Navas.
Birdwatching hide on the river.
