Our First Swim-Up Bar  I jumped up this morning and made a huge
dent in the washing pile and Bear came in with the ‘D’ rings
from Baby Beez, spot the difference. This had happened at anchor
in a big blow off Penang.
 Next time he bimbled in with Beez Neez anchor shackle. Spot the difference. This Australian shackle was certified to take
5,600 kilograms (about five and a half tons – normal shackles take one to two
tons, perhaps the Australians measure in a different
way.............).
 So, after a morning of chores and
pottering around, we had lunch and decided to give the pool a try. Our very
first experience of a swim up bar. To celebrate our
last port of call for the year of 2016 we decided to each choose a cocktail.
 Bear chose a Planters
Punch.
  I chose a strawberry
daiquiri. We realise this is how most folk picture our yachting life – we
wish it was.............
