  While we were
enjoying ourselves up on the 86th and 102nd floors of the Empire State Building,
Anne and Michael (Nimue) were queuing for all of us. There is a place in
town where if you wait in line for ages you can buy tickets to most of the
big shows at knock down prices. They got there early enough to be near the front
and after couple of hours came away with forty per cent off, four seats
together, to see Jersey Boys. Thank you both. Meantime I was taking calls
and texts with Birthday wishes. Thank you everyone. And to everyone who emailed
and sent messages on Face book, it means a huge amount. After we left the
ESB, we wandered past The New York Times amazing
building and into Subway, nothing fills a gap like a 6" BLT and Bear knows
how to spoil me with on a posh date in a top drawer
establishment.
 We
met Anne and Michael in BH Cameras - the biggest
camera / lens / video / computer store in the world. Bear replaced my macro
lens (I'd worn mine out, Thank you BB xx)

pair I could find; for a picture
 Then
chose the happier of the two for a hug
 Very excited now (with Anne and Michael), I so wanted to see this show
 Jersey Boys is a jukebox musical with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. It is a documentary-style musical, based on the lives of one of the most successful 1960's rock 'n roll groups, the Four Seasons. The musical opened on Broadway in 2005 and has since had a North American National Tour, along with productions in the West End, Las Vegas, Chicago, Toronto, Melbourne, Sydney and Philadelphia. Jersey Boys won four 2006 Tony Awards including Best Musical. The stage setting so simple, the dancing fautless and the singing pitch perfect.
 
Afterwards we all agreed, spectacular. Bear bought me a vest (xx), we took some pictures and trotted along Broadway to the subway
It is quite something to see NYC has the same huge delivery trucks as every other city, it just looks weird in this city amongst the yellow cabs.

Trivia: In most Broadway theatres, the rows run alphabetically, traditionally missing the letter I as not to be confused with the number 1, hopefully to reduce the risk of someone sitting in the wrong seat. There are thirty nine Broadway theatres in new York City. To see a show On Broadway the theatre must have five hundred seats or more. An Off Broadway show is seen in a theatre with four hundred and ninety nine or less seats. Nothing at all to do with the address of the theatre. The average paid for a theatre ticket in the city is $76.32 11,200,000 Broadway theatre tickets are sold annually
