The village of Georgetown was the islands capital in 1768-69. The British erected a fortification at the ridge between Barbados Bay and Pinfold Bay, Fort Granby. Today nothing is left but a tomb, dated 1772

Relaxing Tobago style

The episode of the puncture - four degrees, three downpours, two workers and one supervisor

After a huge downpour, the rain brought rivulets of mud down into the sea making for some wonderful colours across Bloody Bay below us

The best stereo unit any of us had ever seen - and man, did it have some bass

We saw forty two of the possible seventy six birds without really trying - this Anhinga put on a display for us

ALL IN ALL A SMASHING WEEK
