Pecalins and Noddy
Terns
Woke up this morning to clattering
against Beez, something was moving in the corner of my eye, I could see a head
bobbing up and down through the bathroom window. Looked out to see a preening
Pecalin on Baby Beez and her
friend sitting on the front. Out in the cockpit the
clattering was soon identified as the wings of the surfacing birds diving for
the fish sleeping under the girl.
One sitting on the
side, now two on Baby Beez and three Noddy Terns arguing
The lady on the
side suddenly spun round, focused and shot out of sight.
To appear over the
side complete with friend.
The first time we visited Deep Bay, Antigua we were swimming and
saw a gull sit on a Pecalins head. A shot I was desperate to get one day. Shame
about the side rail getting into my first shot. Enough ladies were fishing
around Beez so I felt hopeful.
Soon enough
another performance.
A lady about her
bathing.................
................and preeening.
Marvelous.
Room for two –
don’t push.
“Get
off”
The noddies are waiting for fish to fly out of the emptying
sack, two seen on this picture.
This lady was not
sharing her catch.
“Don’t wiggle I’ll
fall off”.
A tuna shot past on the left and loads of little fish jumped at
the back.
Well
caught.
Teamwork.
ALL IN ALL A GREAT
