Kaw Ka Thawng
Cave
![]() Our last stop of the day saw us
welcomed by hundreds of identical monks.
![]() ![]() ![]() The
entrance was clean, well presented and welcoming, even the dragon was
smiling.
![]() ![]() ![]() Buddha’s under umbrella and dragon’s ruff but
then a real wow, over the cave entrance a Buddha leading a
line of monks with hundreds of baby Buddha’s carved into the
wall.
![]() How gorgeous and beautifully maintained.
![]() Guardians at the
entrance.
![]() Clean, bright and
sparkly.
![]() ![]() ![]() Buddha’s
inside.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The
cave.
![]() ![]() ![]() A man shot up a rickety ladder and replaced a
bulb, so pleased to see he had a wingman on
the slippery floor.
![]() To the left of the cave entrance, a
lovely group of Buddha’s.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Through the garden, past the water feature to the temple on the left.
![]() Monks like boom
boxes ???
![]() ![]() ![]() An indoor
and an outdoor Buddha who is going to get
new tiles.
![]() Across the road a big fish looking at a lake.
![]() ![]() Time to leave but first, Bear and I posed with the boys. Then all eight of us.
![]() ALL IN ALL A LOVELY SITE TO
END THE DAY
