2nd Emerald 2:1
but.....
  We needed to finish earlier today to
pack Eva ready to go in for her service on the morrow, so an earlier start. Bear
leapt in to action first, but, after yesterdays tonking felt he needed to open
his account as soon as possible.......I rushed over to the unhooking bed to see a ‘giant’. Of course todays current leader posed with his chap.
   I chose our spot yesterday so Bear
chose today. I was a bit peeved that he shoved me in the corner, a small space
to land anything with bushes to my left and bulrushes to my right. During the
day I lost two big chaps who cannily shot into the bushes. I threw some floating
dog biscuit right in front of me and soon a chap was licking his lips. I waggled
my boilie in front of his nose and he took the bait. Seconds later Bear was on
net duty and my splendid looking chap was happy to
pose.
  I couldn’t help but show a couple of men on the opposite bank.......One caught
nothing (all day) and the other just four tiny tench. Off my
chap went.
 After lunch (note Bear’s nice, open
swim......grrrrr), Bear caught his second
giant.......
 A lovely little
fellow, seen with a scale from a ‘proper’ size chap......
 A kiss
before he was returned to ‘the deep’.
  Clearly, all too
much for the man who clocked up two, but no carp.....
