We left the Manchester Museum and drove a little way to our next museum experience, entering a massive area in MOSI. Very refreshing and just as surprising as our first museum – free entry.

The first thing was to stand in front of the cameras and watch as the results to rise up through a ‘tree’ of televisions.

Planes, machines and textiles on the ground floor.

Upstairs we were thrilled to see a Beez Neez coloured mini and able to lift it with one hand.

Bear got to shake hands with himself. We learned about recycling, took reaction tests, lifted weights through oil, water and bubbles, rode a bike that showed our skeleton, and watched Danny and Josh ‘do a science dance’.

Out of the window Bear spied a steam train and watched her pull out. Keen to visit, off we went.

I warned the others that now Bear was in his element, each label would have to be digested, that we should be left behind........ Soon Bear was stuck in to his examination of steam engine.

A happy Bear.

The Bear was lost as soon as he saw the trains.

Meanwhile Family Law were constructing Delta Racers.

Building complete, it was time to do test runs.

Speedy runs, small adjustments and plenty of blowing.

Fun to watch these fast cars.

We watched a very wet lady coming in for the night.
