Paignton Zoo with Family
Millard
 We met Family Millard at Paignton Zoo
at ten o’clock. We had a smashing time and I took over four hundred pictures of
animals, flowers, creatures and birds. The pictures of the family were
priceless. Martin and Kim bought the boys plastic masks – one monkey – one
tiger. I took great shots of Kim doing an impression of a chimp, arm actions and
all. Bear wearing a mask with his glasses on the top. The family train journey
and so many more.
Later on I downloaded the pictures as
I always do onto Bears Mac. That’s where I do editing and stuff before copying
them onto an external hard drive for safe keeping, too tired, sore throated, no
voiced and feeling generally rough, I didn’t do the copying. At bedtime Bear
asked to borrow his computer, not an unreasonable thing to ask and it began an
update. Somehow, of its own volition the internal hard drive crashed.
Devastated, he took it next day to the Mac shop and Miffy’s old school chum told
him it was a gonna. Nadda, nunca, finished. With great sadness he came home and
reported it’s demise, New hard drive installed. I wept.
So all we have left of this super day
is the picture Bear took on Kim’s phone above.
