Memories of Three Years on Our At-Venture
Our journey
so far has taken us from: Plymouth to Fowey, Guernsey, France,
Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Lanzarote, Cape Verde, the Caribbean, the Turks and
Caicos, the Bahamas and to the USA.
Islands we have
visited: Sao Vicente, Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, Barbuda, St Vincent,
St Barts, Bequia, St Martin, Dominica, Martinique, Carriacou, Grenada, Trinidad,
Isles des Saintes, Guadeloupe, Vieques, Culebra, Puerto Rico, St Kitts, Nevis,
Anguilla, Cooper, Norman, Jost van Dyke, Tortola, Virgin Gouda, Anegada, Beef,
Marina Cay, Saba, Montserrat, Stacia, St John, St Croix, St Thomas, Grand Turk,
South Caicos, Providenciales, Mayaguana, Lady Slipper Cay, Acklins, Crooked,
Long, Crab Cay, Galliot Cay, Staniel Cay, Samson Cay, Warderick Wells Cay,
Highborne Cay, Nassau, Devil's Cay, Great Bahama Island then crossing to
Florida.

Venezuela to
see the Angel Falls. The tallest waterfall
in the world. Height 3,212 feet, biggest drop 2,648 feet.
Peru to
see an amazing country.
The world’s
largest fruit salad weighing 8,866 pounds was made by La Florida and was
displayed in the Main Square, La Merced, Chanchamayo, Peru on the 27th
of July 2003.
The worlds
largest potato pie weighed 11,858 pounds, made by the District Municipality
of Carmen de la Legua Reynoso and displayed in the main square on the 16th
of July 2004.
The largest
roll of toilet paper is 5 feet 6.9 inches in diameter and was achieved by
Kimberly-Clark, Lima, Peru, on the 7th of June 2008.

Canada to see
the Niagara Falls and St Lawrence River to catch carp
The world's
longest firework waterfall was the 'Niagara Falls', ignited on the 23rd
August 2008, measuring 11,539 feet 5 inches, at the Ariake Seas Fireworks
Festival, Fukuoka, Japan.
The world record carp weighed 94
pounds, a common carp caught by Martin Locke (UK) at Lac de Curton, France on
the 11th of January 2010
