Bee Gallery, Penang ![]() The Botanic Garden was in sight but
a pair of bees caught our interest and we had to
investigate.
![]() ![]() ![]() Welcomed to look inside, we found
a company with a huge interest in
the production of honey.
![]() ![]() We read about different sorts of bees.
![]() In Vietnam
they may fly in formation...........
![]() ![]() Tiny red
hornets to huge ones.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Information and
anatomy about bees.
![]() ![]() The massive carpenter bee to the
itsy-bitsy trigona bee.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() There were some lovely bee action shots on the
wall.
![]() The we went into the shop, a bee wishing us Merry Christmas.
![]() We tasted all kinds of honey in the happily decorated shop. I haven’t had any of my
favourite honey for so long, that when I sampled a tiny bit of the slightly
sharp, slightly gritty, pale set – why not – but the lady with nary a glimmer of
_expression_ across her face announced thirty pounds and for Bear’s bit of honey
complete with comb another tenner, we bought a fridge magnet and headed for the
door.
![]() Outside, a
chap asked if we would like to see some bees in action, he pointed out
the queen (centre bottom).
![]() ![]() Out in the
open the workers quickly covered the queen but she did peep out once.
![]() I got to pose with
the happy little bees – the proud bearer of my fridge
magnet.
![]() ![]() We crossed the road once more and I got Bear to pose by the Moon Gate before heading to the
Botanic Garden.
ALL IN ALL A HAPPY LITTLE
DIVERSION
