Harley in Harrods and Hamleys    We showed Harley one of the most famous
shops in the world so he wanted to explore some of Harrods, randomly we began in perfumes,
then took in some of the decor.
   Biscuits, a
staircase and Harley in exclusive
jewellery.
  We
headed to the toy department via a staircase. Looking
up and looking down. The store occupies a
5-acre (20,000 square metres)
site and has over one million square feet (90,000
square metres)
of selling space in over 330 departments making it the biggest department store
in Europe. In 1824, Charles Henry Harrod starts his first business as a
draper. In 1849 Harrods moves to its current home in Knightsbridge.
In 2010 Harrods was bought by Qatar Investment
Authority.
  “A kid in a sweetshop” came to mind as
Harley began to dash about. With Grandpa at the Lego model of Harrods.

   Magic snow. We had powder in our hands, the lady added
water and hey presto – snow.
   Harley with some big
boys, Bear with the most expensive bear and
loads of bears.

  No trip to London is complete without a
taxi ride, Bear nabbed one and a chuffed Harley enjoyed the ride to Hamleys where
we spent the next hour and a half.
   Hamleys, looking the part and zipping up to the
next floor.
