Rubiah Snorkel ![]() Beez Neez is parked in
eleven and a bit metres, not far behind us is the buoyed snorkel area for
day-trippers, visitors, tourists and we soon joined them but saw an area we
could have to ourselves at the far end. Once we had bobbed under the buoys we
were greeted by a welcoming party.
![]() ![]() Next came a group
of redtoothed triggerfish and a couple of minutes later we were in the shallows.
![]() ![]() A tsunami destroyed all the coral some
years ago but there are positive signs of
recovery.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Loads of
parrotfish and we even got to hear them scraping.
![]() They always look like they are smiling.
![]() ![]() Lovely to see clams once more.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This juvenile
angelfish showed his moves, introduced a friend and finally
posed.
![]() Shy boy,
pretty with huge eyes.
![]() ![]() Blue boys.
![]() A grumpy wimple
fish, that’s what he gets for having so many names.....
![]() Time for a
rest.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A big highlight was watching a spotted moray eel wiggling, hiding and
resting.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Our favourite though......Mr Fish, the blue powder surgeon tang and thrilled we were
to see loads and loads.
ALL IN ALL A REAL
TREAT
FANTASTIC TO BE BACK ‘IN THE FISH
TANK’ |
