New Friends for Big
Bear
 In Coral World is Lorikeet Garden, an
aviary with a dozen or so Australian
Lorikeets
 These little chaps have
gorgeous plumage
  Bear spotted the only
red and went to work on his bird-whispering skills
 The rest of
us watched with interest
 
 So far so
good
 
 Now Bear manages to get close and personal
- stealing some strokes
  Meanwhile others are
closing in for attention. Bear thought the red one had had enough but
no...............
   ...........He had
something else in mind
 After lunch and a mooch around the rest of
the park, we returned and bought a $3 pot of nectar so Bear to feed his new friends
 Bear told me he had
never had birds all over him like this - No
comment
   Was this a luuurve
thing, clearly not.
 The Lorikeets went at
the nectar like a man in the desert goes at an oasis - apparently we are going to get one when we reach
Indonesia
 But you can only have
one favourite.
