THE Picture Challenge of
Sydney
 We bimbled down to
see the giraffes. Here we would attempt to get THE
picture. We had seen what we had thought was an iconic picture last year,
whether true or set-up, we wanted to have a go for ourselves. Said picture
appears on much of the zoo advertising and indeed the site map, which we carried
around all day has it as a lead picture.
  Disappointed, we found them all in
their hutch. Bear posed with the statue that shows the
world’s tallest baby. Then we saw a head appear.
  More heads
appeared, then we realised that they were patiently waiting for their
keeper to restock their snacks. That done they all trooped
out.
 These tall and elegant creatures
bimbled straight to their treats. This may take
longer than we thought.
   Sheer
pleasure.
  What a
tongue.
  Cute
enjoyment.
  Too much movement and
lack of pose.
 Disinterested and
busy.
   The
photo-bomber.
 The nearly picture –
until my mate swung his fodder into
frame.
 What a
view.
 Our friends enjoy it
too.
  So how did we do despite only getting
one chap to pose ???
