Our Three Day Adventure in a
Van – Day One
![]() We met Karl, Becky, Sofia and Blake
(Windarra) on the quayside at half past eight, ready for the hire car
people to arrive. Bear thought this was the
one.
![]() ![]() While we were waiting we took in the coral scenery and looking down into ten feet of water,
we could see so many fish in the clear water.
![]() And a chap
sitting quietly. Soon enough we were off. A two day hire “just leave the keys on
Sunday, no one is around, so no one will know what time you bring it
back...............” How lovely are these people.
![]() Our first stop was at Avaki grotto,
Bear the chauffeur.
![]() ![]() Uga (pronounced oona) or coconut crab crossing. One careful
owners came in good quality packages.
![]() A rather lovely
example.
![]() ![]() We stopped by a green called Oscar’s Oval.
![]() Ummmmm, golf
course, graves and sea views.....Mmmmm.
![]() ![]() ![]() Put cockerel, golf hole and sign into
one picture.................
![]() ....oh and don’t forget the 11,000 volts.
![]() Opposite the creation above was the next hole Thinking of you Mark.
![]() What a
view.
![]() One single
grave to this whole vista.
![]() ![]() Niue Consulting
Agency, provided shell collections and land matters – at the other end of
the building was the evacuation centre.
![]() ![]() ![]() Bear’s
lunch – no comment.
![]() Every time we stopped the views were incredible.
![]() ![]() ![]() Flowers
along the way.
![]() The must take picture at the Matavai Resort.
![]() ![]() The Niue Golf and
Country Club.
![]() Time for a curry and home for nine
o’clock, a busy day.
ALL IN ALL A VERY FULL DAY OF
FUN |
