Saturday Spuddle in Ship’s
Sound
 This morning we got up and
breakfasted in the cockpit, simply taking in the scenery and marvelling. Time
for a game of backgammon. Now I was all too soon four nil down and things
clearly had to change. I won five four to much grumbling from himself. What I
had just achieved is known as a Fowey Comeback. The first time I had cheekily
snuck a win out from under the skippers pointy beak had occurred in our beloved
Fowey, Cornwall – our first stop on this incredible journey of ours. I’ll be in Baby Beez was heard in clippy tones, off
for a spuddle with the Scott-Frees in the lead, around rocks in water
too tricky to take Beez Neez, who looked
splendid in her surroundings. We saw colours, shapes, Terry the Turtle, new
mangroves, tiny plants clinging to sheer surfaces, hard coral below us and aside
from the odd chirp no other noises in this incredible limestone topography. This
is what we saw.
