We did walk to the lookout at Maingon Bay but the wind was bone chilling.

We watched a few waves hit the right of the bay then went back to Mabel frozen through.

Settled, window slightly ajar – just enough to poke the lens out, happily wave watching. I did ask Bear to scamper down to stand in a picture or two to give perspective, but needless to say he declined in words not to be typed here...... To give some idea, the cliffs were about fifty feet high and the big waves came every twenty minutes or so. Would love to have been here in really big winds, southern ocean swell or a little storm. Today it was just plain calm and cold on a low tide. Nothing between us and Antarctica nearly three thousand miles away.
