39:01.094E Day Four to
SA A mix of sea conditions settling
at dusk to a very pleasant movement, calm and blue. Spaghetti bolognese for lunch, not too much
water in the leak collection rig. Yeah. 18:27, the sun is
setting slightly later. We sailed all night in an average of eighteen
knots of wind. My two until six saw lots of bright
stars and at a quarter past five the pre-dawn light
was sufficient to turn the chartplotter screen to its brightest setting. New
habit is to get Bear’s trusty, old, duct taped laptop out at half five and begin
to type the blog and weather conditions email to Des, ready to send at six.
There are some frustrating times when it takes two or three attempts to get
Outlook Express on line, sometimes a minute – done and dusted. Not able to use
the internet is proving to be a nice break. Stats so far – 444.6 nmiles covered
with an average of 4.6 knots. In the last twenty-fours hours 112.8
nmiles. ALL IN ALL REALLY INTO THE
SEA LIFE PATTERN
