Labuan Bajo Pre Sunset Spuddle ![]() Once a small fishing village named after
its sea-faring gypsies, Labuan Bajo is now a bustling modern town with a growing
tourism industry. Before going ashore we took a turn around the anchorage to look at the local girls.

meet the gang for a few pre-supper beers.
![]() ![]() ![]() We passed a film
crew shooting a travel feature. A hardware
shop with attractive wheelbarrows and LB’s main
Mosque.
![]() ![]() We watched the fishmongers at work just as the sky
went pink.
![]() A quick turn round the
fruit and veg market for a few bits and bobs.

didn’t smell too appealing and some of the things in a cafe
window looked positively dangerous...
![]() Time for those beers.... What a wonderful
surprise to see Danny and Carol (Sentinel)
who we last saw stuck in Tual with a gearbox problem. They have done a grand job
catching up with the rest of us.
![]() ![]() Supper – a very posh, tasty and inexpensive
feast.

route homeward bound we saw quite a construction, skinny too.
