Iluka Bluff
 We ‘popped’ out of the forest reserve
and onto the beach at Iluka Bluff. I saw crashing waves – say no more, Bear enjoyed a five minute sit down.
 Colour me happy but the spray melded too much into the clouds.
    I had fun wave
watching.
 That’s better the
cloud had moved.
    Bear joined me and was happy to pose for a series.
   Bear was keen to get to the Lookout. Rocks cut by wind and
waves. An almost perfect
circle cut in this tiny rock pool.
  We climbed the
stairs to the Lookout.
   So impressed at the information we read along the way.
  A kindly looking sea. We have had to stay a few days extra
here as the bar has had danger warnings with big swells out
there.
 Nice to see
across the bay to the ‘sea doorway’ we’ll head out of
tomorrow at dusk, Queensland calling us.
    ALL IN ALL COULD HAVE STAYED
