The Dance at the Village Festival
of Mutalau

began.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So much
concentration.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This little one
stole the show but did have flower trouble.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The crowd step up and push money into
waistbands and tops and somehow the dancers keep going.
![]() ![]() ![]() This family began really
well.
![]() Even managed
smiles.......................
![]() .........................and did two
dances.
![]() ![]() Grandma and Grandpa
stepped forward and the little chap said in a big voice,
“This next dance if for Papa Joe, our daddy.” Joseph Hafeikitana Mahakitau, 20th
April 1968 – 27th of June 2013.
![]() The two oldest began openly weeping
the others looked shocked but somehow they got through
it.

suffered for the children, some crying.
![]() ![]() ![]() The men had a tough act
to follow.
