Night Tour, Hong
Kong ![]() ![]() We joined the Night Tour after a much needed cappuccino, chilly or
what, on Hong Kong Island. We queued at six, boarded at five past and set off at
a quarter past. A much shortened ride on this side as we headed straight to the
Cross Harbour Tunnel. Opened in 1972 there are two lanes each way, forty-four
bus routes pass through along with over seventy-seven thousand cars each day
making a revenue of HK$700 million each year. Once we popped out at the other
side we followed the Blue Route with no stops. It was good to see the city lit
up, some skyscrapers had changing, flashing scenes others a rigid pattern. We
had time once we had finished the tour to nip down to the waterfront in place to
watch the laser and sound show.
