From Te Anau to
Queenstown ![]() We said our farewells to the lovely town
and Lake Te Anau and were very soon on a country
road.
![]() The main state highway with ‘B’ road
traffic, well make that one lorry with an awesome
backdrop.
![]() ![]() Enjoying the
scenery, then a swarm of sheep.
![]() No rush ladies.
![]() That’ll be cross the road ladies not stop
for lunch.
![]() ![]() This lady was very unimpressed that Mabel was so much bigger. The little one
a slow walk will do. When the farmer passed in his
car he was towing a trailer with a mum and her baby born en route.
![]() ![]() Blue here really means
blue.
![]() First glimpse of
Queenstown as we crossed the river.
![]() Kingston, the
bottom of Lake Wakatipu.
![]() We drove through the trendy town, known as
‘the adrenaline capital of New Zealand’ due to the number of activities
available here that gets the blood pumping, to park next to the lake, the Remarkables looking snowy. We are due to begin our
visit in a leisurely way with our afternoon cruise on the TSS
Earnslaw.
![]() As we left Mabel a
parascender shot by.
