Leaving Charlotte Amalie and
en route to Culebra
![]() We got the anchor up and went around
between the posh yachts and the three cruise liners to get to the fuel dock - we
saw this boat "Today" with a real thatched
roof
![]() ![]() The cruise liner in the middle was one of
the Disney liners with this wonderful Goofy doing a paint
repair
![]() ![]() Leaving the fuel dock we saw head chef and his assistant walking into the dining
room on "Freedom of the Seas". From a distance they look
like toy men on these huge liners
![]() ![]() Out of port we saw a
seaplane, a common sight over the last few days en route to St Croix.
Then some tourists having fun
parascending
![]() Another new flag - this time Puerto Rico
![]() This is Sail
Island about equidistant between St Thomas and Culebra, seven ish miles
off each
![]() The well buoyed entrance through the reef
to Ensenada Honda - a huge natural
harbour
![]() Behind the reef is a
great natural anchorage at the entrance to Ensenada Honda, also seen as the
biggest hurricane hole in the region
![]() The reef
entrance taken from Punta Soldado on the southern tip of the
island
![]() ![]() Costa Bonita Beach
Resort, a new complex. New building going on overlooking the harbour
![]() ![]() A couple of shots of the chart plotter showing where we - Beez Neez
are
![]() Beez Neez and
friends facing out to sea
