To Tiramu    This morning I awoke and requested
eggs. Yes, dear reader, eggs. You may have noticed our own bits and bobs - we
did strip Mable of her bits and replace them with ours from Beez, hence the
familiarity of equipment. Anyhooo, there was an egg
event on the skippers side of the bed. I had to take the pictures really
quickly as the camera was fogging up, still a bit of a surprise to breathe out
and see the cloud your breath forms first thing in the morning.
 Out on the
road all seems smooth between the driver and the Wicked Witch, thank
heavens.
  We went through Ashburton and Winchester.
 Today I am pleased to report, that the
mountains were ‘further back’.
 Very amusing when the main highway was
brought to a halt because the cows crossed the
road.
 Several bridges
later............
   We found the free parking spot for
Mable at Caroline Bay and went for a
bimble.
 We cut through the underpass and
looked across the park.
    Back to where we were. Wow, we are on
a beach where little penguins come home after
dark.
 Never seen a
penguin crossing sign before.
   Nothing for it but to move Mable along
the breakwater and wait. I lost badly at backgammon. It was nice to watch the light changing on the wet sand.
 Lovely to watch the sunset, waiting for the little chaps.
  Too much for
some.
 We gave up when it
got dark.
  We watched the activity at the docks for a while, tucked Mable in and retired. Denzel
did a good job in the film Flight.
