Underwater Wreck
Snorkel
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We tethered Baby Beez to the
float marking a large submerged wreck (between
Beez and the wreck on the beach of the Black Rose). Near the
wreck is a big area of hard coral, the outer drop-off to a hundred feet. We
enjoyed many fish and watched a turtle about his business. A new one on us was a
banded pipefish (looks like a cross between a tiny snake and a seahorse complete
with pointy nose, bulbous eyes and so hard to see). We saw our biggest
parrotfish to date – up to two feet long and heard them chomping at the coral,
too skittish to get good close-ups or face on, but they do always looks as if
they are smiling. Bear enjoyed it so much he wants to come back, no
arguments from me. Pictures of our snorkel.....
