San Ignacio Bimble We were told that town was a slow ten
minute walk so off we went. Just down the road we fell in love with this des res.
A ‘One Careful
Owner’ and a Mack and I feel right at
home
We found the town was having a major face-lift
Bear posed by a
Mayan bird and we found the Town Hall complete
with a list of mayors past
It was a step back in time to see
bras dangling opposite a Record
shop, a new one on us though was the Flood Evacuation
sign
After a Chinese lunch and booking a
tour to the ATM Caves tomorrow, we had a wander around the small supermarket. I
came out with a handful of new films at a pound each, the lady behind the till
assured us with a toothless grin that “thay velly goo quarity, velly new, jus
relised”. What she forgot to mention was the massive Taiwanese subtitles right
across the centre of the screen and that the actors mouths were always trying to
keep up with their voices. On our way back we stopped and watched the road workers.
Bear admired this massive trowel
I enjoyed watching the men paddling in wet cement and the various big
vehicles
We couldn’t work out if the owner was
coming back for these shoes resting on a pile of
sand. A new number plate for the collection. Time for
a cold one.
