A Viani Bimble
The day began splendidly with Bear producing his best Fijian egg event yet.
The Tui Tai came into the bay this morning, Trip Advisor tells some old sea-dog stories about this elderly lady – rodents and all.
Jack welcomed us ashore in his hail and hearty way and showed us where to anchor Baby Beez.
We walked through the well kept grounds of the Ucunivatu Primary School and on the Middle School.
The school had just has its Drug Awareness Day.
Two scruffy little chaps made a half-hearted welcome.
We made our way over to the very smart toilet block, Jack had told us the track uphill was just behind.
To our right a very typical house complete with detached toilet.
The track put test to the gripping power of my flip-flops.
Half-way up leaving big-school behind.
The view from the top.
To the left of Viani Bay, Beez just right of centre and to the right.
Back on the school grounds we could see the ‘estate’ to our right.
Well colour me happy – some tiny hermies bimbling about on the beach. Time for a snorkel wethinks, oo do you like my new word...
ALL IN ALL A HAPPY PLACE
