The Short Journey to Ship's
Sound
![]() A leisurely start to this dull
morning, brightened by the promise of an egg
event.
![]() ![]() ![]() The stick-on, the real thing and
my perfection.
![]() At midday we waved ‘farewell’ to the village..............................
![]() ..................................and
set off to wiggle through the massive rocks to anchor
in Ship’s Sound.
![]() ![]() ![]() We used Mark One Eye-Ball as the chartplotter was clearly somewhat ‘offset’. Nothing for it but to park on land..........
![]() We were actually weaving our way
through water thirty feet deep, passing incredible
scenery.
![]() Seven miles we passed many fertile
‘humps’ of limestone carvings.
![]() We waited a few minutes for Scott-Free to settle, turned left by the big rock and
anchored with eighteen feet below us.
![]() The
view behind-left.
![]() The
view front-left and to the
front.............
![]() ALL IN ALL OUR MOST UNIQUE ANCHORAGE
YET
REMARKABLY
