The Short Journey to Ship's
Sound
A leisurely start to this dull
morning, brightened by the promise of an egg
event.
The stick-on, the real thing and
my perfection.
At midday we waved ‘farewell’ to the village..............................
..................................and
set off to wiggle through the massive rocks to anchor
in Ship’s Sound.
We used Mark One Eye-Ball as the chartplotter was clearly somewhat ‘offset’. Nothing for it but to park on land..........
We were actually weaving our way
through water thirty feet deep, passing incredible
scenery.
Seven miles we passed many fertile
‘humps’ of limestone carvings.
We waited a few minutes for Scott-Free to settle, turned left by the big rock and
anchored with eighteen feet below us.
The
view behind-left.
The
view front-left and to the
front.............
ALL IN ALL OUR MOST UNIQUE ANCHORAGE
YET
REMARKABLY
