The White Chairs Memorial and CTV
Site ![]() We wanted to show our respects at
the CTV Site. We crossed the road from the ‘Cardboard
Cathedral’ leaving it over our right shoulder.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The saddest sight was looking down at the CTV parking
spaces.
![]() We crossed the road once more to see the one hundred and
eighty five white chairs.
![]() The car seat is a very poignant reminder that the youngest killed was just five
weeks old.
![]() The wheelchair,
representing the oldest at eighty seven.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Two of these chairs belong to the UK.
![]() ![]() ![]() Bear found the
chair that spoke to him most, it was a spongy one and he got very
wet...........
![]() We spent time sitting as dusk fell. The
‘Cardboard Cathedral’ in front of us and the CTV site diagonally opposite to the
left.
![]() ![]() Behind the White Chairs was a small cardboard turret, there we
read the names of all who perished.
