To Beaufort Docks, Beaufort,
North Carolina
 We left the lovely Mile Hammock Bay at eight, turned left and back on the
ICW
 Major Mecano
Bridge
   We
were still on the Marine land of Camp Lejeune.
The chap above couldn't have obeyed the warning........
 Bear
Inlet
   We passed Spooner
Creek. Thomas Millard married Eliza Spooner in Bear's family
tree - a parsy area.
       We saw the usual
sights.
  And a couple of different ones,
including a house that looked like a posh shed and a
university
      Crossing
Beaufort River Inlet was an event. So many small ships coming in from a
day out at sea.
       Saturday afternoon fun
as we near Beaufort
 Bear radioed in to the marina, very helpful dock masters helped
Beez and us into a pretty slim slot at four o'clock,
We fuelled up and Bear went off to log us in; he returned shortly clutching a
couple of beer tokens for each of us to us in the dock side bar. Miles today
35.2. Total on ICW 714.18. Total miles 9792.5.
  To finish the day we used our beer
tokens at the bar and watched a local band - who
really did perform on the veranda
