They Wash the Trees
Here................
 We stood in fascination watching a man washing the trees. They must look their very best for
when prospective buyers come to look at this vast building project.
 Men deliver
ice, strange as we assumed they would have ice making facilities on
site.
  Work continues day
and night...........getting a little worn by all the
clonking.
 Our taxi arrived – Uber, which upsets
all taxi ranks worldwide – so much cheaper. Three pounds to take us about half
an hour to a huge mall. Our microwave packed up, the hoover is on the blink – we
found both plus a new toilet brush holder and robe hook for me as mine keeps
falling down. Cost for the lot – less than a hundred and fifty pounds. Next was
to replace the sheet that Bear threw away in Thursday Island and a few bits in
the supermarket. Replace the Easyo maker as ours leaks – free with five packs of
yoghurt mix and chicken with rice in the food mall for three quid for both of
us....... A very successful outing, back to the fancy
facade, through with our trolley full of shopping, unpack and time for a
swim and shower. What a life we lead.........
