After lunch we headed over to Adranan Island. Our little booklet says: Adranan Island is one of the eminent tourism objects. It is 500m2 small island located in the Dullah Laut Village. The soft white sand s are covering all the shorelines. You can swim, snorkel and dive around the area of Adranan Island. The clear sea water in the surroundings enables you to see directly the coral reefs. This island is used by the local people of Dullah Laut and the surroundings for the bathing ritual in Safar (Islamic month) as the symbol of cleanse themselves from sins. Another interesting thing in Adranan Island is the change of the east and the west seasons. During the west season, the sands on the beach will shift to the east and vice versa.
You can go to Adranan Island from Dullah Village by local people’s small boats for about 20 minutes riding, or you can directly go by ship from Tual City.

We could definitely call this the island of shoes, they were everywhere.

There was even a formation team.

We had a gentle shore bimble along half of the island (Catherine and John - Afar VI), turned as we were cut off by the sea and a gentle bimble back. Loaded once more into our trusty craft it was time to head back. A good day out.
