Newly Finished Nursery and
Luka with His Box
 No sign of our new grandbaby – now
nine days late, Miffy and Rachel invited us over for a takeaway, with the
proviso that Rachel order a hotter curry than usual. We were very pleased to
visit the newly finished nursery. A very neat and happy
rainbow is the main focal point.
 Above the cot is a lovely frieze in muted tones.
    The rest of the
gang are dotted around.
   I was thrilled to
see a crab merrily dangling from the light shade. The Baby Fund is coming along nicely and the scans are no substitute for the real thing.
 Gentle threats to ‘the
bump’.
  Luka sat outside, like a good boy while we ate our supper. Rachel waded
through a Madras – we’ll see. As a treat for his patience I presented Luka with
a crisp, whole cardboard box. Miffy made him do a ‘high five’ and put both front
paws on his quarry. Within seconds a line of teeth marks had been chomped around
the edges. Bubble wrap for dogs..........
   A good drubbing, Bears camera couldn’t cope with the speed of
the attack and the box is
suffering.
