Back to N23
We tidied Beez and kept busy waiting for slack tide at two o’clock ready for the short journey back to our buoy. Time to turn the engine on, sweet request to my ears, aye aye captain. I turn the key one move to the right to illuminate the glow plugs, count to eight, turn further and nothing, nadda, nunca. Beaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr. Some bad words are heard floating on the air from downstairs. Now try. Lovely. Turn off and try again. Nothing. OK give me a second......... Try now. Beez once again throws herself to her task. The engine battery was not playing nicely so Bear had to move the engine starter temporarily onto one of the house batteries. Another job on the skippers list to sort out then. For now, covers back on and lunch.
2015 sailing mileage began today with Beez doing 0.67 nm with 3594 nautical miles left this year to Sydney Harbour.
ALL IN ALL WONDERFUL TO BE BACK ON N23
SO NICE TO BE HERE
