The Scaffolding of Hong Kong ![]() ![]() ![]() My interest in bamboo scaffolding hit a new high when I got the
chance to get up close and personal as we bimbled from the tram stop to the Peak
Lower Station. Supports:- a thin one, a fat one and errr.............steady, I was going to say a sturdy one, Mmmmm, too much of a
pause........
![]() ![]() Looking up at the
cross-beams and under the first
floor.
![]() ![]() On our journeys out and about we have
seen many piles of waiting bamboo.
![]() As we stood at the bus stop to swop digs we watched
traditional acrow props being delivered, clearly
bamboo cannot be used here.
![]() ![]() Don’t fancy living on the floors above the props.......
![]() ![]() ![]() We saw flimsy-looking, tall and overhanging.
![]() ![]() Nearest to our second
digs.
![]() One of the
tallest.
![]() Our biggest bamboo
scaffolding offer was en route to the airport – humongous.
ALL IN ALL MY NEW
FASCINATION
