To Koh
Hong
![]() ![]() After exploring Koh Panak we settled to begin a long hop of four miles,
leaving as the tour boats were descending with
hundreds of kayakers.
![]() We slipped in to
the ‘heavy’ traffic.........
![]() Each koh (or island) looks like a shaggy tablecloth at the
bottom where erosion has formed so many overhangs.
![]() Each has a different shape and size.
![]() Such unique
topography.
![]() This area is part of the Ao Phang-Nga National Park set up in 1981, covering four
hundred square kilometres.
![]() Over forty two large and small
islands, all shapes and sizes.
![]() ![]() ![]() Very difficult to judge the heights
but each rock soars vertically from the water (four
to ten metres below us).
![]() The current swirls around the islands.
![]() The view
opposite our chosen anchor spot.
![]() Todays little
hop.
![]() Beez
Neez as we saw her later on our spuddle.
