Australian Mother’s Day
2016
  We got up this morning on Australian
Mother’s Day. We put out the days alcohol for a bit of fun and Pam was all but hidden, well there was to be eight of us.
After breakfast Jim went out and bought me strawberries to enjoy one floating in
my pre-lunch champagne, simply
delightful. Walter and Vivienne arrived after new friends Ellie and
Heather. Pam prepared roast lamb and all the trimmings with a delicious pudding.
We enjoyed sitting al fresco and after we had been thoroughly spoilt a Canadian
couple (neighbours) popped round for a drink. Late afternoon was the perfect
time to walk to the beach for champagne, strawberries and sunset.

xx xx, thank you ladies for our gorgeous
grandchildren.
   Out through the garden passing Matilda, through the woods and
out onto the beach where Jim and Pam settled on a
blanket.
 In the seven years since we have seen
Jim and Pam, they haven’t changed one
jot.
 We enjoyed watching a fisherman bring in a fish.
 The pinks of
sunset.
   I was treated to a sea eagle and brahminy flight
displays, clearly should have brought the big camera........
  We sipped our champagne with
strawberries and enjoyed the sunset. Back home after
a tasty supper I lost terribly at our first game of Wizard but surprised
everyone with a win in the second.
   ALL IN ALL A WONDERFUL
