Poor, Poor Sala
Lots of ladies have been coming out this week to have their bottoms scrubbed and anti-fouled. As the sun was setting it was heart breaking to look down line and see the fourth boat along.
Looking down her port side she looks like a job in progress.
Her right side tells a very different story. While we were on our road trip, there were several quite bad storms and one very severe - winds over fifty miles an hour with stronger gusts. For whatever reason another boat took Sala out and she sank against the main jetty. Here she is with an uncertain future. How very sad to have crossed the Atlantic and Pacific oceans from her home port in Aberdeen to end up as she is now. Makes us very glad that Beez Neez was safe on the hard in her cradle and not on a buoy like this unhappy girl.
For now, every time we bimble to and from the shower we look up at her and sigh.
ALL IN ALL SO VERY, VERY SAD
