This has been our view for a week.

We know we are very lucky though, at least it's warm, but at night I'm having to wear a tee shirt. Kate and Bird put me right on the phone, minus eight to eighteen, so I stopped whining quick sharp. The weather has been brought to us from America via a cold front meaning continuous squalls. Not what we are used to. The wind has not gone much over thirty knots - well reefed is nothing Beez cannot deal with - in fact we have sailed inside Plymouth breakwater in thirty three knots in March a few years ago, but twelve foot seas is no fun and Montserrat is not the place to be if it is a north easterly swell.
We have seen many boats coming in damaged that have weathered a journey - possibly to get away from rolly anchorages. We telephoned Montserrat weather station today and they said Little Bay is quite flat, checked with wind guru and things have calmed down, so off we finally go on the morrow.

Today in a clear bit we went in for fuel

One of the prettier fuel stations we have visited

This little bush tells us the wind is still blowing a Hooley

As we go back out to anchor the clouds are still threatening, another downpour on the way

ALL IN ALL ENJOYED THE WEEK PLAYING GAMES AND CHILLING - LITERALLY
