My 50th Birthday - 28th of June 2010
 
 
 
 
 Our room early morning with my pressies on the bed
 
 
 
 
 
A closer look. My new chain from all the children/grandchildren - a HUGE thank you and lots of love
 
 
 
 
My day, but thinking of Tina (50 on the 20th) - we started school together September 1965. Here's to the next 50 mate
 
 
 
 
The other end of our room with Simon and Jump Jet posing happily
 
 
 
 
 
Then breakfast, thank you Jump for jumping up early to surprise me with balloons (Jump) and twinkles (Kate), badges and sashes worn with pride
 
 
 
 
Then off to the pool with Simon of course - carried happily ??? by my beautiful assistant
 
 
 
 
In the pool taking one of my many calls - Thank you and for all the cards (via Postman Jump), ecards, emails and calls - very treasured
 
 
 
 
In the evening under Jumps watchful eye - something I have always wanted to do - light a pipe
 
 
 
 
I've seen people having to keep lighting and puffing
 
 
 
 
and I did enjoy the experience - it will only be a rare event
 
 
 
 
Then it was to dinner, carefully presented by Caroline. We were joined by Peter and Suzannah - who bought us a bottle of wine, Thank you. There was champagne from Jump Jet and a cake, Thank you Hon
 
Then we had a bottle of champagne at 21:50 - my birth time - no wonder I'm a night owl.
 
 
 
ALL IN ALL A FABULOUS DAY - THANK YOU ALL XX         NOW FOR WEARING PURPLE
                     OH THIS COULD DANGEROUS, VERY DANGEROUS - I'M HIDING THE PAINTBRUSHES AND............................HEAVEN HELP ME
