Our Plan to Trinidad

Sadly, time has come to prepare to leave Jolly Harbour.

This meant Bear togged up to face the forest below with his trusty scraper. I asked him to look up - then smile, I think the first picture was better. Meanwhile household chores for me washing, hoovering and stowing.

Each time Bear came out of the water he made thousands of creatures homeless, I hosed them off of him back into the deep, fish were having a frenzy feeding party. Compressor out to refill for the next crack at the forest. I'm sure I know what I'm doing, but I will just have a little look at the manual, Yes Dear.

Last night here and the very day we set sail three hundred and sixty five days ago we went for a steak after a few cocktails in 'Happy Hour', Couldn't make them on board for that you know. Better have another. Yes Dear. Took the first photo of the walkway back to the girl, the girl herself waiting patiently for her next round of at-venture and us all cheesy grins.

Plan is to leave here at midday to anchor off. Spend the afternoon on the beach and then have our customary meal of chilli con carne and rice, washed down with a bottle of Fizz. As today is the 6th of June we have been away a calendar year, Bear splashed out a bit and bought us a Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut, very much looking forward to that. Tomorrow we leap into action and go:

From Jolly Harbour Marina we plan to anchor off Deshaies, Guadeloupe for the night.
Make peace with The Isles de Saintes two nights at anchor. Bear wants to buy two of their legendary stainless steel scrapers, he wore the edge of ours sorting out the forest.
Pass back through Portsmouth anchoring for one night and Roseau for a couple of nights.
Fort de France in Martinique for two nights.
Rodney Bay, St Lucia for supplies, one night and an overnight stop at Soufriere.
Slip in to Bequia and explore for five nights.
Hillsborough in Curacao for two days.
Prickly Bay in Grenada for nine nights. Leaving here for an overnight sail on July the 11th.
And finally in to Chaguaramus, Trinidad on the 12th.

Approximately 435 timings depend much on weather, wind and sea.

ALL IN ALL BUSY LITTLE BEEZ, WE ALL CAN'T HELP GRINNING.
