Paddy and Queenie came by at ten thirty and off we followed in Baby Beez. A couple of nearby uninhabited islands

Everywhere we went in the clear water was teeming with fish. The plan was to go to the top of the island and snorkel. The ladies were put off though with all the ‘tiny’ things. The little black dots in the picture looked like teeny weeny sting rays and were in their billions.

Next we tied to a buoy with every intention of ‘getting big’ and going in. Paddy did and reported a little nip, that blew it for the rest of us. I caught this chap in my mask and that confirmed it, no getting wet. Actually, later, much later at sundowner on Beez, we decided this was a harmless baby cuttlefish.

Next, I caught a threadfin angelfish who after posing nicely was returned unharmed. This dry snorkeling was going well.

We headed toward the end of the runway to where the Panamanians ‘play’ on a Sunday.
