Very amusing, we were up this morning at
our usual time, not knowing that we had gone back an hour, so our seven was
everyone here’s six, way too keen. We hung around before coming in to the marina
and by chance heard the net which began at 8:30. Soon after we were on the dock
helped in by Kenneth and Chepo. Wi-fi soon revealed 79 emails. Sadly signal too
poor for skype. We wandered up to the office and were pleasantly surprised to
find a really nice pool.

Cannot wait to complete formalities as
a dip would be smashing

The bar looks
welcoming especially as they do a mean mudslide, no mud though

Marina cats way too welcoming

How chuffed
am I, there’s chaps
Formalities were a bit
mean. $25 each for our personal visas. $30 for Port Captain fees and $30 for the
agent. $50 for a cruising permit that we have to go over to Cancun to source. So
to average out the costs we felt we needed to stay a week. $200 for the marina
which includes electric, water and wi-fi. Departure tax will be another $50. Had
we have known this we would have stayed out at sea and gone straight to
Guatemala, now here, lump it. Welcome to Central America.

On
the net this morning we were promised a free drink and a band, off we went to
Bahia Tortuga

We
can only hope the band was better than the inner sole
burgers

Rishy and Tony were
not the Eagles, but pleasant enough, and we enjoyed each others company
famously

We took
a look at the accommodation here, very
Mexican

By the time we got back my friends were out and about. I asked Bear to put his
finger in the shots for a size perspective. Words with many syllables rhyming
with bucket and rowlocks sprang forth, which basically meant no, I thought it
was a shame as I wanted to show these chaps were about eight inches across the
carapace. Fine looking lads.
ALL IN ALL LOVELY TO HAVE A
POOL
