Bed's in Fear and Dread

After our smashing visit with Colin and Ann, we wended our way down to Plympton. Biaga sat awaiting our arrival by the gate, a joyous welcome - but I could feel Beds trembling in my arms. He shows displeasure, upset and sadness by shooting his ears back, well they couldn't go any further back. He needed no reminding about their last encounter, he still has nightmares about the incident which saw him in the jaws of said creature; being shook by the throat. I felt tears prick in my eyes as each time I got within a rescuing grasp said dog turned her head, it took several minutes before the siege was over. Beds has never got over it and so long as I am not seen by him in a petting mode all is OK. This visit was to be different. MOTH (Mistress of the House) fervently promised Bed's - by looking cute - that he was quite safe. As soon as he was installed in our room he was safe. Biaga was only ten days past her second hip replacement and was NOT allowed up the stairs. Moth even showed Beds the gate closed across the bottom of the stairs. Up the luggage went, Beds was welcomed by Fraser and actually began to relax a little.
It was after ten, that means Bailey's o'clock in the Walker household and time only for a quick chat, then two in the morning - or the next day in fact - so off we went to turn in, so far so good. A wonderful nights sleep for all.

Eight in the morning all hell broke loose. I was on the computer. Beds and Fraser were just saying "Good Morning" to me when Biaga came flying through the air, landing across the computer, snapping it across my fingers, Beds was immediately incontinent and Fraser didn't know which way to turn. Beds' ears may never come forward again. Moth was heard shouting on the stairs "but she just shot past me through the gate".

Was there any sign of remorse - how can you tell
