White Cay

After all the excitement of bridges, cruise ships and chums leaving Nassau we had a very uneventful motor sail the thirty nine miles to White Cay. Through Devil's Cay cut, very close to the rocks of Saddleback Cay and into the anchorage between Fowl Cay and White Cay, hook down at a quarter to five, time for a snorkel.

Below the girl was grass as green as a bowls lawn, a lady stingray flew in, snaffled on the floor and flew off - a tailless beauty

I ventured toward the northern, shallow cut to see what might be in the sand, I found sand dollars and a hermit crab, but the current was a killer. It took ages to get back to Beez - not that far behind me

Back on the grass I had to look up often to see where I was, A fish well camouflaged and a sight for sore eyes aboard the girl

ALL IN ALL A LOVELY SPOT
